Pizza Chef - Andover

Great food and convenient hours. Really nice people working here. Delicious salads incredible chick parm subs. I don?t eat pizza, but everyone tells me their pizza is fabulous as well.

Honestly, pizza chef in Andover is the closest to heaven I think I've been. I am from OK and was just passing through and needed some lunch. It reminded me of pizza places I went to back 30 years ago, their crust was delicious and the entire place wasincredibly clean.

Food: N/A (was unable to order a pizza due to being ignored, so I grabbed a water to go, but was ignored and put it back. This was at 3:30 pm on Saturday 7/22/23. There were only two customers in the dining room, who already had food, nobody was taking a telephone call) Service: The young lady gave me a dirty look when I walked in and then ignored me. Whatever, so I placed my bike helmet on a table and went back to the counter. I said hello this time, and again got the annoyed look and no response. Not sure if she is just a spoiled snob or simply has no professional skills while in a poor mood, but I was not looking to make any friends, just refuel with food and water mid 50 mile bike ride. I would understand if she was busy, but not even a hello, I 'll be with you in a few minutes Ambience: See above. I felt unwelcome. Gave it a shot, and got no chance.... SO, I put my helmet back on left without a word in either direction and pedaled 11 miles to JJ 's Woodfired Tavern in Franklin, where everyone, not just my server, was super friendly and the pizza was great.

Be very specific about what you order here. The staff turnover is very high and their interpretation of orders varies with new staff. This is the only Pizza Chef near us that that has New York style crust so we go there a lot. We are 60/40 on actually getting the right crust and have had to wait for them to remake way too often. Not what you need when you are hungry. Never had a problem with quality of the food. Always good. But one expects to get what one has ordered.
