On Sunday, February 12th at noon, I was disappointed with my experience. In the past, they would use jugs of cider to prepare their Hot Apple Cider and stamp my loyalty card. Now, however, they’ve switched to using individual cider containers from the refrigerator. After handing the barista my payment along with my loyalty card, she informed me that they no longer stamp the card for this drink. I replied that I had been receiving stamps for the past few weeks. Unfortunately, she responded with an attitude. Given this experience, I've decided to take my business to one of the other two coffee shops within walking distance.
I really wish the drink consistency was better at this place. Some baristas clearly know what they're doing, and the hot drinks turn out fantastic, while others seem unsure about properly steaming milk or the right milk ratios for different drinks. If you're not sure how to make a hot drink, just be honest—I’ll happily switch to something iced.
This place is a gem. Discovered it on my most recent visit to Andover when I was looking for Stubs (down the street) alternative. Man, what a treasure. Amazing frittata and the sandwiches look fabulous. Best part was the fresh out of the oven pastries and the barista, who patiently answered all my coffee and food questions so I could track my macros.
Love the cafe au lait, and my niece loved her decaf. On a chilly, rainy day sitting by the fire with a hot cup of coffee was delightful.
