The Boondocks - Anderson

My wife had a chicken sandwich, sweet potato fries, lemon water. I had a bacon cheeseburger, onion rings, sweet tea. Split appetizer. End of day, 2 burgers that should have been about $12 each. Ended up being $25 each. Total of $52 for burgers you can get anywhere. Don't understand why folks try to sell ordinary for outrages prices. There's an old saying that business owners and government will not help people have a reasonable existence they just pass their burdens on to the consumer. That way they can keep their lavish lifestyles while ordinary Joe's foot the bill. Hope they are proud of themselves because I will NEVER GIVE ANOTHER NICKEL OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY TO THEM. If you're smart you won't either

The food is hearty. The service is ok. They don't bring the bill you have to pay at the register. The place is rustic and good for kids. Looks like beer is all they serve. I had the salmon and it was good. I like that they removed the skin. The broccoli and cheese was good not so salty as others restaurants serving the side. Mashed potatoes were creamy. My husband loved the chicken fried steak and the gravy, the rice was loaded with gravy. The creamed corn was typical. They have daily specials and they are reasonably priced. The waitresses are very nice. The prices were reasonably priced.

The waitress was nice. The food was ok. What should have cost $40 cost 64 (due to prices of everything being 1 dollar more than menu stated and which section of the menu you pointed at or looked at!! I know there's price increases but what a joke!!

Good food, nice staff... but 20 dollars for a meat and 3 is very high priced. Likely won't return.Food: 5/5

Burgers, fries, sweet potato fries are great! Bird dogs pretty good. Meat and 3 also very good! Nice place to get to go or sit down.
