Crown Andermatt

Absolutely loved staying at The Crown hotel and eating at their restaurant highly recommend! Super friendly and helpful staff. Ambience was luxurious yet cozy, felt like a home away from home. The room had everything we needed, the shower was especially nice. Lovely views of the mountains. A delicious breakfast was included, I especially loved the fresh bread, still warm from the oven! We ate dinner at the restaurant a few times, great menu with both meat and vegetarian options. The roasted eggplant with Moroccan couscous was DELICIOUS. Would definitely stay here again, thank you so much!

We had both lunch and dinner at the Crown's restaurant this week and loved it. Creative and diverse menu with something for everyone (yummy vegetarian options! , friendly and authentic staff, cozy space, and the cakes/patisserie are a dream worth returning for!

I stayed at this hotel in March 2021 and just got a demand for payment letter 1.5 years later from a third party debt collector company that this hotel hired. Of course, I did actually pay my stay, even before I checked in to the hotel. I'm demanded to pay an outstanding amount plus 5% interest plus 200+ CHF in reparations. Contacting the hotel itself to clear up the mistake is not possible as they're on operating holidays until mid December and the third party debt collector company told me that they'll look into it without anything happening since. I understand that mistakes happen but having the audacity to send a demand for payment letter 1.5 years after the fact without any kind of notice and based on presumably false bookkeeping on the hotel's part is unacceptable.

The facility and the ambiente of the restaurant is very beautiful. we ate there twice during our stay as it was comfortable. Overall, eating was good, but nothing more than that. Some dishes were better than others. the pasta of our child was not tasty, he complained and. we even tried not to taste. prices were quite high given the quality of food. If we visit next time, we will only eat for comfort, but will venture outside the hotel.

Definitiw not worth. there are restaurants in andermatt, where they eat much better and still pay less than half.
