Wendy's - Anchorage

We've eaten here several times over the years. I really like the Asiago chicken sandwich. Not so crazy about the chili anymore. Seems like the recipe has changed. We ate there earlier this week while in Anchorage. The Asiago chicken was pretty good. Chili was OK, but not nearly as good as it used to be. My wife had the spicy chicken sandwich. She says it was OK. Their fries are pretty good too. Prices are about normal for Alaska. We were disappointed with the noise. It sounded like the remodel construction was still going on. All in all, I'd say it's one of the better choices for fast food.

Why do I find myself at Wendy's almost every day? Mostly because it's affordable and quick. The food isn't exceptional, but it's decent. I usually order a baked potato with extra butter and sour cream, along with a small chili. Given these points, I would recommend Wendy's, especially if you're in a rush.

I popped in for a quick lunch and was pleased with my experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and my food was served promptly. It was hot and delicious. However, accessing the parking lot can be a bit tricky. For those of us from the lower 48, the 4 for $4 deal translates to 4 for $6 in Alaska. Still, I think it's a good value overall.

Wife shopping at Fred Meyers next door decided to give Wendy's a try had the Chicken Nuggets and the Ranch Bacon Fries with Ice Tea staff was friendly service was quick good experience worth a trip !

They make their hamburgers square. They have these really need chocolate ice cream type things they call a Frosty. Tasty. Mmmm.
