Thai Siam - Anchorage

Unfortunately, the pad Thai was incredibly bland. I ended up dumping Thai chili on it just to choke it down, feeling too embarrassed to leave it uneaten. Even that spice couldn’t salvage the dish, and now I regret finishing it. The green curry was equally flavorless. I'm really disappointed and starting to question my own taste buds. With a place that looks so well-decorated and authentic, I have to wonder if I just had a stroke of bad luck or if there was a substitute chef in the kitchen that night. To be fair, I should probably give it another try on a weekday, but I can’t help but feel hesitant. One last thing: don’t let the photos deceive you; the taste doesn’t compare at all.

This is a cozy spot to enjoy a meal. The owners are welcoming and friendly. The homemade food is delicious and offered at very reasonable prices.

Best Thai food in Anchorage. Lovely atmosphere, we are regulars and an order almost the same dish everytime. Tom kar Kai soup is THE best, pineapple curry, their wings, and everything on their menu never disappoints. Large portion. Best in town, great customers service. Owners are lovely and passionate about their business.

Ordered kaeng ped. Was the right amount of spiciness which was surprisingly nice, but thought the sauce itself was a bit too sugary.
