Texas Roadhouse - Anchorage

The overall service was good. However, it seemed like there weren't enough fans around the seating area, which caused the bread and food to cool down too quickly. This was also the first time I pre-ordered, and my meal wasn't ready until we were about to leave. I might be a bit particular, but typically when I order, the food arrives within 10-15 minutes of placing the order. I’m giving a rating of 4 out of 5 mainly because the fan made the bread cold as soon as it was placed on the table.

We ordered the ribeye steak and a baked potato to share. The food was served hot, and the steak was both tender and flavorful. The rolls were absolutely fantastic, but the highlight of our experience was our waitress, Paris. She took excellent care of us throughout our meal. I highly recommend requesting her section when you visit!

We didn't have any peanuts, which wasn't a big issue, but I did enjoy the way they were presented on other tables. I ordered a Cactus Water Drink with a tahini rim, but it arrived without the rim. When I inquired about it, I was told that they were out of tahini. It would have been nice to have been informed about that upfront, as I probably wouldn't have ordered it otherwise.

I had the 14 ounces Prime Rib rare with horseradish and it was wonderful. I usually get this fillet that is my favorite, but decided to try something else after my grandson told me it was the best main thing he ever had and I must agree. Personally, I don't like bacon on my loaded baked potato and wish they had cuts instead. Next time, I'll stay with loaded sweet potatoes.

Great service and even better food. Never disappointed here.
