Tent City Taphouse - Anchorage

The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and serves genuinely good food that isn't overly greasy. They also offer a respectable selection of beers. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely eat there again next time I'm in Anchorage—10/10!

We stopped by for lunch and tried two appetizers: pelemi and poutine. We also enjoyed crème brûlée for dessert. The preparation was non-traditional, but everything was delicious. The service was great, and the atmosphere was relaxed.

It could be a great place to eat, but it's difficult to find parking nearby.

Ordered a lunch to go order for my office downtown, and the guy that answered the phone sounded like he was stoned. He had trouble answering a couple questions I had. When I arrived after the 25 minutes I was advised until it was ready, the woman at the host stand copped an attitude before I could get my order picked up. When she handed meThe order, I specifically asked if they added the requested blueberry bar-b-q sauce that I so love. She assured me it was there. I looked in the bag and saw a small ramekin that appeared to be it. So drove back to work only to find one member got the wrong item and the blueberry bbq sauce was actually au ju for another members order. To say this place is a disaster is putting it mildly. Im done. No longer will I waste my hard earned money at this place.

Tried out the brunch and it was definitely delicious! We tried the Chicken Waffles, Poutine, and the French Toast. Everyone really enjoyed their food. Our server was very attentive and welcoming. Great atmosphere and I definitely would come back to try more of their brunch menu.
