Tatilani - Anchorage

Nice family atmosphere restaurant. Too bad they were out of Pampano...reason for going there to get it deep fried lol. But the fried rice with chicken and the shrimp and veg tempura was good.

Great family friendly restaurant with amazing food. Our favorite was the banana chips appetizer. Best banana chips we ever had. They saw we had kids, and had trouble keeping them quiet, the server didn't hesitate, helped put on a show on the TV so we can enjoy our meals. Portions were huge definitely worth a visit if you're in town. We will definitely go back to try more. We also had the chicken katsu dinner and the Polynesian style Lambs.

I was very excited to try this spot, but it didn’t quite hit the spot for me this time. A positive is that the ingredients in these dishes are fresh! And they are colorful. However; something on the app made it soggy, you can see the brown layer in the photo, and the poke was pretty salty, I couldn’t finish it. It took an overly long time for this food, like 40 mins and they came at the same time. I don’t know how big the place is, maybe they were busy in a room I couldn’t see. Anyways! I will give it a try another time! Try something else.

We ordered the 32 oz bowl of spicy poke! It was bright, fresh and so flavorful!! We also enjoyed the beef Yakisoba. I have ordered this dish at a few places on the peninsula, and this one beat them all. So much umami. She gave us a free tempura Oreo with whipped topping after our meal. Highly recommend eating here!

Visited Alaska for the first time and didn't want to just eat hotel and fast foods so I looked for someplace local and being from Hawaii decided to try Tatilani's. The food was good, quiet atmosphere when we were there and service was quick. The two people that was there was nice and polite
