Sundays Caribbean Cuisine - Anchorage

We dined at Sunday’s for the first time tonight, and we were absolutely thrilled with our experience. As someone from the Caribbean and a former resident of South Florida, this place truly feels like Miami. It's a charming, family-owned establishment with excellent customer service and mouthwatering Caribbean cuisine. The staff were warm and inviting, making us feel right at home. The owner was amazing—very friendly, knowledgeable, and approachable. For takeout, we sampled the Chicharron, Jerk Chicken Sandwich, cream of corn, and spiced pumpkin cake, and everything was simply fantastic.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic! We stumbled upon this charming Caribbean island eatery by chance, and we are so glad we decided to give it a try. I've tasted nearly everything on the menu, and the tilapia is the best I've ever had! The quality of the food is outstanding, and the staff is wonderful. I wish your family business all the success in the world! Thank you for the excellent service and delicious meals.

What a fantastic find hidden away near Muldoon Road! The appetizers are simply delightful—make sure to order a combo platter to sample a variety of flavors. It’s clear that the owners and staff genuinely care about the quality of their food and the happiness of their customers. Plus, the prices are very reasonable for Anchorage. We were visiting from out of town and will definitely come back on our next trip. And you absolutely have to try the pancakes—they were amazing! Their space is on the north side of the building and can be a bit tricky to spot from the street, so be sure to drive around the parking lot if you don’t see it right away. It's truly worth the effort!

I absolutely LOVE eating at this restaurant and ordering from them. However, I'm really frustrated by the fact that they are almost NEVER open during their posted hours of operation. Their hours are clearly displayed for each day, yet whenever I try to call to place an order or go there, they're closed. It's such a disappointment because they truly serve the best Hispanic food in town, without a doubt. What a shame!

As a New Yorker, I can confidently say that there’s no better place for authentic Caribbean cuisine in all of Alaska. Keep up the outstanding work! I’m proud of my Latino community for highlighting our culture, flavors, quality, and exceptional taste. There’s truly nothing like this in the area. Thank you for being in Alaska! For those who have only left a few reviews, please don’t let them sway you. It seems some people overlook the restaurant hours posted outside and online, as well as the menu. So that one-star review isn’t fair. Thank you for the amazing food!
