Roscoe's - Anchorage

We stumbled upon this delightful restaurant, and we're so glad we did! The dishes were light and flavorful, without being overcooked or too soft. The pork ribs, yams, potato salad, and buzz (perhaps they meant some type of special dish or drink) were particularly exceptional. It's a family-run business, and everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel like guests in their own home.

The most friendly facility in the city. eating is to die and not miss out on the pfirsichball. great jewel that I passed during the visit of anchoring!

We were sad to hear that the former Roscoe location had a fire, but are happy to know that they are now closer to home. the bratpork nips were the best jambalaya that I have ever tasted, the homemade mac and cheese is amazing, the cat is perfectly cooked, and the maisbrot muffin was the perfect complement to the light spicy seafood jambalaya. I forgot the fried okra, which was in mouth and was a more generous part, and the red beans and rice were also delicious. back to home with our meal, were inspired to see the movie “Soul Summer” we see for a few months, and seafood of Roscoe’s was an excellent guide and many thanks to jacqueline for packing all potentially spillable containers in separate pockets!

I had an incredible cat sandwich, and the sides were outstanding! The service was also incredibly friendly.

This delightful soul food restaurant is conveniently located right across from the Sheraton downtown! The dishes are packed with flavor, and the service is quick and friendly. It has a cozy, unpretentious vibe but offers gourmet-quality meals. Definitely make sure to dine here!
