Pangea Lounge - Anchorage

The restaurant offers an excellent variety of dishes and is very accommodating to different dietary needs. I really appreciate the creativity, especially with options like elote ice cream and the surf and turf New York steak.

Three of us stopped by Pangea on a quiet Thursday afternoon for lunch after hearing some local recommendations and reading positive Yelp reviews. We were traveling through Anchorage on our way from Seward to Talkeetna and were looking for a local spot with an enticing menu. Pangea turned out to be the ideal place to relax and enjoy a wonderful meal. We shared a Steak Pita, a Fried Chicken Sandwich with peanut satay sauce/seasoning, and Halibut Tacos. Each dish was accompanied by a side salad dressed with a tasty cherry balsamic vinaigrette. Everything was delicious, the portions were generous, and the stout from Denali Brewing Company was a favorite among the dark beer enthusiast in our group. Highly recommended!

Delicious food with an excellent variety of choices. I really enjoy the diverse menu and convenient downtown location. I will definitely return!

When first walking in, I should have known to turn around. It smelled like an old folks home. More like dirty furniture that hasn’t been cleaned.The food was meh, my husband had a basic breakfast and a side of eggs, not sure what they used for eggs but they were disgusting. I had the chicken and waffles which was not great. The waffle was dry and seemed undone and the chicken was not well seasoned.I would not return as the best thing was the mimosa.

Amazing place. Wonderful menu with something for everyone. Attentive service. My honey/habanero chicken was absolutely delicious. My wife loved her beet salad with added steak. The steak was delicious. Highly recommend
