Mcdonald's - Anchorage

I’ve visited this place multiple times just to grab a milkshake, and each time, I've experienced a long wait. The counter service is really disappointing! Yesterday, there were four people in line ahead of me, and everyone was looking around and commenting on the poor service. There was no one at the counter to take orders or even greet customers. McDonald's Corporate, you really need to do an undercover visit and speak with the owner about this terrible service!

I picked up dinner from this restaurant during my stay in Anchorage, as it was conveniently located next to my hotel. I ordered a Big Mac meal, and it was served hot and ready in no time. The taste was exactly what you'd expect from a typical McDonald's.

I honestly can't believe this McDonald's is still operating. The incompetence of the staff is astonishing. Why even have a drive-thru if you don't have anyone at the order station? I've been there twice in the last two months, and both times I left without placing an order because no one was available to take it. On the occasions when I've successfully ordered, more often than not, I’ve had to pull forward to wait for my food, only to find the wrong items in the bag. It's a shame there isn't an option to give a negative rating on this site.

This McDonald’s has the absolute best vanilla cone I’ve had at a Mickey D’s. Hubby had the Struppewaffel or whatever it’s called, the seasonal caramel McFlurry, and he said it was awesome as well. Freezing cold inside, staff was prepared for it and well bundled up but guests weren’t so dress warm even if it’s nice outside. (I think they do this to discourage loitering) Sandwiches were very good as well.

Order double bacon smokehouse, got a single, soda didn’t have syrup, and the fires taste like ocean.
