Harley's Old Thyme Cafe - Anchorage

We really enjoyed the sourdough and buttermilk pancakes at this restaurant! Be sure to take a seat as soon as you arrive, as we ended up waiting unnecessarily. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely return!

This is a fantastic restaurant with excellent food and service. It is one of my favorite breakfast spots in Anchorage. I especially appreciate that they offer biscuits and gravy as an alternative to toast.

I finally found a restaurant that serves authentic sourdough pancakes. The portion sizes were great, with 6 cakes and 4 to 6 strips of bacon. They even use real coffee mugs. I kept my order simple, but I was extremely satisfied. I will definitely be returning to try something more adventurous. The prices seem reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes. This restaurant will now be my top choice for breakfast, surpassing South Restaurant and Bears Tooth.

Definitely consistently good. The Ranch Skillet is excellent. Very good quality chorizo, black beans, fried potatoes and eggs, plus assorted veggies. They really put out a nice meal. We will definitely be back.

Harley’s is an absolute treat and worth your time if you are in the Anchorage area. Skip all the tourist spots and get some amazing home cooking with prices that are a steal. Atmosphere is great for a family run cafe with comfortable seating and decor. The brisket burger is incredible with fresh veggies, and all the fixings. The Grandpa was a treat to get that much french toast and bacon with hashbrowns that are the perfect mix of soft and crunch, without being heavy on the oil.Don’t pass us the opportunity to eat here.
