Guido's - Anchorage

The crust at this restaurant is fantastic—definitely the best I've tasted in Anchorage. It was soft and moist, without being overly sweet or sticky. There weren't any burnt spots, and the extra cheese was generous and perfectly melted, while the pizza itself was hot and thoroughly cooked. I ordered the combination pizza, and the black olives stood out as the predominant flavor, nicely complemented by the onions and balanced with just the right amount of green peppers. The only downside was that the sauce was a bit bland, but this allowed the pizza's flavors and the buttery crust to shine. I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality at Guido's, and they even delivered to Huffman. The delivery driver was incredibly polite and made sure to carefully handle my pizza due to the extra cheese. He was definitely right to be cautious!

I brought my tour group here for our farewell lunch before heading to the airport. The service and food are always excellent! The portion sizes are generous, even on the lunch menu, so there's often enough for leftovers. I will definitely keep bringing my groups here for lunch!
