Holy one? SMOKES!!! My first time here and I can't believe my taste! I tried the cinnamon vertebrae and (DROP THE MIC). SO SO SO SO SO SO soft, perfect texture and amazing taste. I had a few bites of my egg sandwich and enjoyed it. The sauces they added to the sandwich were a perfect combo! I will come back

As life-long Alaskan, GHBC was always going to stack for tons of reasons, big bread, creative options, good sandwiches, etc. The bread for the most part is still a leading reason to visit, but the lunch menu has now become very conservative. In the past, these sandwiches could be thrown through a car windshield. Just a brick of goodness. After visiting with my wife today, a spicy Italian sandwich that has a single piece of ham a single salad cut, and, I think I have the inner two rings of an onion. The price remained unchanged. I would advise other lunches for the best bang for your Buck factor, but the bread is still good. Enjoy now before the bread samples .50 become a piece.

Three cherry for big harvest!!! Everyone knows that they make fantastic bread and generously give to everyone who walks in the door large sample slices, but they are also very generous with local nonprofits. They reached us last March with an unexpected surprise donation that we had to share with the local community in a fun way. This is a community that makes great bread and supports its local community, so I wish I could give it more than five stars!

Best bread treats in any condition. Very clean and welcoming location in Anchorage. The aroma alone is worth a visit. Breakfast on Monday was very fast, no amount and many tables for diving.

The bread is fantastic and it makes for a great sandwich. 5 stars for the fresh bread and flavorful sandwiches. Only reason it isn?t 5 stars in the rating, they seemed to get the orders out of order when being made. I know some sandwiches will take longer than others but I got my sandwich and my son, who ordered right after me, took much longer. Several people who ordered after us left with sandwiches in hand. But I will definitely recommend this place to friends and be repeat customer when I?m in town.
