Cinnabon - Anchorage

Since it opened, the quality of both the product and the staff has steadily declined. They used to generously apply icing on their rolls and provide extra icing at no charge, but now there's barely any icing, and additional icing comes with a fee. I recently stopped in for a center roll and received what appeared to be a half-eaten cinnamon roll. This will definitely be my last visit for a while.

I discovered this restaurant thanks to Ed's body shop. My friend Janet from the Chamber recommended I try the local pastry shop near her, which is delicious, but my other friend Janet, who's always honest, suggested that Ed's body shop could help me find Cinnabon. And they really did! I'm so grateful that Ed's body shop is staffed by such down-to-earth people.

I don't often visit Cinnabon, but I decided to stop by today. I stood at the counter for about a minute and noticed a worker not far away preparing bread dough. They seemed aware of my presence but didn’t offer to help or ask if I wanted to place an order. Eventually, I had to ask, "Excuse me, is there anyone available to assist me?" They turned away to communicate with a co-worker in the back but didn’t seem very friendly.

I try to get here every time I get to Anchorage. They have always been absolutely great. The last 2 times I stopped to get my rolls they were not so good. I always get a 4 pack to go. I dont usually get to them for several hours. This last time they were very hard and stale. I couldn't even soften them up in the microwave. The sugary cinnamon was very grainy too. Perhaps I will insist on the fresh ones in the future. I have been dissuaded in the past and told that the packaged ones were fresh also. Not this time. The rolls also looked like the goofy misshapen ones that are set aside. I will try one more time...3rd times a charm.

Came up from Homer, Ak with my mom to go to the mall and get Cinnabon. Was there 1 1/2 hours before the posted closing time and was told that they were no longer selling to the public. I asked what are the doing with the inventory sitting in front of me and the worker jokingly said, it’s for the employees ha ha. Staff was rude, never open when they are supposed to be. Cinnabon should revoke their franchise rights to this horrible business owner. They don’t deserve to use this brands name. Would be great if corporate actually read this and fired the owner from having the rights to use the franchise name. This was not the first time I have been turned away from this location. Crazy they are still in business. Just goes to show stupid people can own a business.
