Mary Brown's Chicken - Ancaster

I visited for dinner around 7 PM, and I was truly impressed by how friendly the staff is. The cashier went out of their way to customize my husband's order to wings, and one of the team members thoughtfully helped me pack up my food to take home. They even brought our meals to the table! The service here is outstanding, and it's what sets this restaurant apart from others. They really go above and beyond!

Today around 7:20 PM, I ordered 9 pieces of chicken, 2 Big Mary sandwiches, and 2 biscuits. When I got home and finished showering, I sat down for dinner only to discover that I had received only 8 pieces of chicken. I immediately called to speak with the manager, but she wasn't at the store. The person who answered my call simply apologized. This isn't the first time they've failed to follow their own guidelines. Typically, a 9-piece chicken order should include 2 breasts, 2 thighs, 2 drumsticks, 2 wings, and 1 center piece. However, on several occasions, they have deviated from this and given me 1 drumstick and 3 wings instead. Today, they set a new low by only providing 8 pieces while charging for 9. This feels like a completely fraudulent act. I urge everyone to check their orders before leaving the store, as they are not trustworthy at all.

Honestly, we waited 35 minutes just to get our order corrected because they had it wrong. They also forgot to bring us what they promised. It was quite frustrating! We were dining in, and by the time we got our food, we had already finished our drinks.

The sandwiches and wraps here are absolutely delectable! The food is halal, and the staff truly enhances the overall experience. The restaurant is clean and serves fantastic meals. Every time we call, the team is incredibly friendly and gracious. I have never encountered a business with such genuinely kind employees. Joseph particularly stood out as one of the most polite and considerate staff members. Thank you for the outstanding customer service!

Absolutely delicious! We ordered the big Mary and coleslaw, and the chicken sandwich was the best I’ve ever had. The chicken was fresh, white meat that was tender and juicy, while the coating was crisp and not at all greasy. The service was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant was spotlessly clean. I had a chat with the manager and the chef; they were both really nice, down-to-earth guys. I just wish we lived closer!
