Hubby and I were in Anamosa for a work event that finished around dinner time. He had heard there was a good Mexican restaurant. We found it and we’re not disappointed. They bring chips with salsa to the table which tasted fresh and homemade. We chose a guacamole appetizer which again was absolutely fresh and delicious. Hubby ordered a steak entree described as spicy. It was and he loved it. I ordered a shrimp dish which I loved. The shrimp was fresh and perfectly done. I cannot eat milk products. The restaurant was very accommodating about taking care to not add one sauce that had some creaminess to it. I love it when places take care of patrons like us.

Family and I have stopped here several times in the past 6 months. The entrees are pretty good. Always hot and fresh with a decent portion size for the price. We tried their desserts once and were not pleased with those. It took a long time to get them so I believe they were prepared and then sat there waiting for the server to bring them out. The service is my only complaint about the place.
