The best burger and fries EVER!!!! The prices are awesome!!! An awesome gem to find... As your heading north it's just before going down the hill and there's several little shops in there too...

We drove out because of all the five star reviews. This was not five star food. Only chicken dish was the teri chicken so we shared that with a side of onion rings. They had pizza also but not until after 4pm. We were there at 3. The saimin looked great but it was all pork and we don't eat pork. The chicken was very fatty and had a very funny taste to it. It was covered in teri sauce which still didn't mask the weird taste of the chicken. The onion rings were hard and stale like. Only dipping sauce was ketchup or mustard. Don't bother with this place if you are looking for plate lunch. Go to the huli chicken stand instead. That place was AMAZING!!

Take that the posted hours are highly flexible . Drove from Hanalei to eat here on a Saturday 6:00pm, was supposed to be open but was closed. A church service was being held with 5 participants. Was invited to join the ceremony, but I was more interested in eating. Continued down the road to Kapa 'a to eat dinner.

This was my favorite place to eat on island this last visit. I was always stoked with the meal, and especially with the beautiful peeps that ran the place. Will return upon my return, indeed! Hugs Mahalo an Light to the folks cookin over there! See ya this summer at some point hopefully!

Staff was very nice and the back yard open air seating was setting this up for a great experience. I ordered the pork and cabbage hawaiian plate. Pork was ok, no cabbage and my macaroni salad somehow had potato salad mixed with it. Glass noodles were ok as was the sticky white rice but the overall food experience was disappointing.
