Pho Quang Trung - Anaheim

Service is very very bad. Im order on the phone they said around 15 or 20 min but they give me wait 30 min and when I ask them. They said they do wrong . The restaurant only one custumer and they do wrong thats really funny

Good food and good price . Try it, it is a bit far from where I live, but if you're in the neighborhood, try.

First time back since covid, what the hell happened to this place?? They redecorated the upholstery, which is all well and good, but I didn 't come to admire the couches. The menu is one double-sided page now. It used to be like a book. They have two sizes: Small and large. Small should be renamed kids size and the large is not much better. Their pho used to be the best place in town, size XL bowls and would get so full that I couldn 't walk out properly. The bill was $20, I left hungry and very disappointed. I almost went to Carls Jr next door just to top-off. Oh well.

After searching for open restaurants for half an hour (it was 7:30pm on a Saturday), we stumbled upon Pho Quang Trung. We didn't check any reviews and went in blind. We were seated immediately and ordered Bun Rieu(small) and Bun Bo Hue. Both were solid choices- on par with ones I've had in San Jose(my baseline for viet food). The bun Rieu was a little strong on the tomato flavor, but I'm a fan of tomato! We also had a slightly weird request. We had just finished shopping in the area and needed fish sauce for later meals at home. We asked the waiter if we could buy some fish sauce from the restaurant because we didn't know how to mix it at home and were down to our last resort. He thought about our strange request for a second and said they don't sell fish sauce BUT he could give us some to take home for free! We accepted thanked him profusely for it! We ended up with a to-go container half full with fish sauce and the restaurant ended up with a generous tip! This place now holds a very dear spot in my heart for 1- being one of the only open places, 2-having great food, and 3-being sympathetic enough to give us free fish sauce!

This place hit the spot after a long trip. My girlfriend and I ordered the pho ga. The pho is nothing special, but it does the job. I know what I want out of pho and this restaurant delivers on that front. If you want to get a good pho, I recommend this spot.
