Contribuiți la feedbackI'm a bit confused about the relationship between this location, other branches, and the Brookhurst location. However, I must say that the food, service, and atmosphere are excellent. My main issue in this review is with the pricing. I visited at 3 PM, which is typically my lunch hour since I work nearby. Usually, the cauliflower sandwich costs $13 for lunch. But it seems that after 2 PM, the price increases to $17, and with tax, that's around $19—still for the same sandwich, same portion, and same place. This is essentially a $6 hike in price without any clear notice that dinner prices differ so greatly from lunch prices. A cutoff for lunch at 2 PM? Really? In many Middle Eastern cultures, lunch starts at 2 PM! I find this pricing strategy to be misleading and inauthentic. The time of day a sandwich is ordered shouldn’t dictate its price unless there’s a significant upgrade, like a larger portion, to justify such a steep increase. It’s frustrating considering that I still want to leave a tip, and this pricing issue isn’t the fault of the staff serving us.
Aleppo's new Anaheim location is such a great addition to the offerings around Angel Stadium. The food was super fresh, hot, and in generous portions. I had the Kabob Sampler and every bite was heaven--the chicken so tender it melted in my mouth. My wife loved the grilled shrimp, and the pita--OMG! Extraordinary. It tasted freshly baked, hot out of the oven. Service was attentive, but not intrusive, and the food came out fairly quickly. The only improvement I suggest is that the room felt a bit stuffy--some air circulation would have helped. When we asked the server about it she quickly remedied the situation. It was a perfect spot to go before the game, with parking right next door for only $10! We'll be here regularly!
This local family owned business is a gem! From the food to the staff to the rebranded and updated new restaurant, it's a great experience.I've come for lunch several times and have yet to be disappointed. I've gotten their flatbreads, including the innovative potato and za'tar, which I've never seen before. Order it. It's delicious. Their classic sujuk or cheese are also on point.?If you are hungry, I'd recommend the Aleppo sandwich, which is meaty and tasty with a custom slaw inside their pita bread. Even their fries are good! Also, they released a new iced lemon mint drink, which is divine. Love love love this place, and everyone who works here is such a delight.Definitely stop by if you are in the area! Or better yet, drive out specifically to try all their delicious dishes.
Food was good. Service left a lot to be desired. Had to ask for someone to take our order. Darren was very slow and unfriendly. No water refills, charged for a piece of pita bread and 18% gratuity added for poor service. It would be fine to order to go, but not fine in. We were celebrating a graduationâ¦very disappointing.
The food was delicious, and the service was excellent! The Turkish coffee is amazing. I highly recommend trying everything on the menu; it was tough to make a selection!
