Georgia's - Anaheim

The taste was incredibly smooth and satisfying. What you see on the plate is exactly what you get: Gumbo, Blackened Chicken Pasta, Fried Chicken, and COMPLIMENTARY CORNBREAD. The Blackened Chicken Pasta truly stood out, although everything was delicious overall. The cornbread was warm, crispy, and fluffy. The staff was attentive, frequently checking in on us, and the managers even came out to help pack our leftovers. Thank you to the team at Georgia's!

The quality of the food was disappointing. The garlic fries tasted like they had been cooked the day before and then cooled before being served to us—unbelievable. The chicken was decent, not overly dry, but I’m a picky eater, so take that with a grain of salt. The waffles were fried and no better than what you’d find at a free hotel breakfast. The baked green tomatoes were alright but lacked flavor. We ordered our meal to go, but they forgot to include any of the sauces we should have received. Ultimately, we paid $45 and would have been better off dining elsewhere.

We asked the staff for recommendations and were pointed towards the fried chicken. However, we were disappointed to find that it was just a deep-fried boneless breast, and it lacked flavor. We couldn't figure out why they served it with buttermilk dressing. The ribs were acceptable, but the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese were quite bland and could have used some salt or seasoning. Overall, it was not a great dining experience.

Service with a smile? HERE! The fried chicken is crispy, but it has too much pepper. The rice needs salt and the Coleslaw is Blande. The BBQ chicken sandwich was delicious and the Macn cheese. The French fries are good and the spicy chicken sandwich was delicious. But the service was terrible! Zulette was unfriendly and involuntary, she saw that I went to the register and ignored me. I asked three times if she still took food orders and she answered yes, but with one attitude and did something else. She didn't have the courtesy to ask me to wait, but when a lady went to complain about her order wrong, she immediately went by to help her. Rude!

It wasn?t the best food, like the fires were super thin, the chicken was not cleaned. I had a fried chicken plate and my friend had the hangar steak. Literally a joke. The hangar steak was a few small pieces and the fried chicken was three large pieces and a good por portion, but not good. The chicken is definitely the cheapest type that is bought in bulk, which I understand because it?s a restaurant, but like add something to the chicken. The only taste was the outside, but the inside was so plain and tasted really dull, not what I expected. However, the prices are reasonable. The mac and cheese was so good. They added extra cheese to it which made it great.
