Contribuiți la feedbackI spent a full day here getting ready for the runDisney 5K. Disney holds the runDisney Health Fitness Expo at the Disneyland Hotel and you have to stop by here to pick up your racing bib and t-shirt. I enjoyed the Disney themed decorations, paintings, eateries and the gift shop while we were here at the hotel. It was Disney 's one hundredth year as a company and they had Disney 100 decorations up everywhere. There is an old Autopia car in the lobby area that you can get a photo in. The expo was really crowded, so we ended up grabbing food here at the hotel before heading over to Downtown Disney. They had a snack area set up where we were able to grab some Mickey Pretzels. We then got coffee at the Coffee House and lunch at Goofy 's Kitchen. There is a lot to do and see here at the Disneyland Hotel. The Disneyland Hotel opened around the same time as Disneyland 's grand opening in 1955 and was the first hotel to bear the Disney name. Since Disney acquired the hotel in the late 80 's, it has gone through several renovations. The Disneyland Hotel has over nine hundred rooms and is walking distance to Disneyland, California Adventure and Downtown Disney. For recreation, Disneyland Hotel has a pool with cabanas and a fitness center. If you are hungry, there are a number of places to eat here inside the hotel or you can walk over to the Downtown Disney district.
Great luxury hotel if you're staying at the DVC tower. The rooms are spectacular and modern. The shower is fantastic and the beds are super comfortable. The DVC pool has a cute Mickey Splash Pad! You definitely are paying for the convenience of how close it is to Downtown Disney. The customer service is wonderful here. Definitely try the Dole Whip at the bar by the pools!
What a great hotel! We are very avid Disneyland goers, and this hotel was by far the best hotel we have stayed at for visiting Disneyland! The location was obviously fantastic, but the price wasn't outrageous either making it a feasible option for our family to stay when visiting the theme parks. Every detail, from the decor to the hospitality and service, was the same high standard you would expect from Disney. Plus it was so much fun to continue to be fully engulfed in Disney surroundings after leaving the theme parks for the day. The water park was fabulous! My 16 month old had so much fun in the splash pad area, while my 5 year old had a blast on the slides, both pools and hot tubs! The cherry on top was being able to meet some of the Disney characters at Goofy's Kitchen and dining by the tiki torches at Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar. 100% recommend to all! We plan on staying at this hotel for all our future trips to Disneyland theme parks!
This particular hotel has always been on my list of places I've wanted to stay. I'd read reviews and they were all over the place, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I arrived for check in full of excitement, wonder and awe over the magic that Disney creates the moment you set foot on the grounds. The welcoming entrance with friendly, uniformed bellmen was stunning. Our check-in experience was absolutely fabulous, our room even got upgraded. We were a deluxe room in the Adventure Tower with splendid views of the pool and other resort buildings. Our stay was five days long, so we also got to experience the exceptional housekeeping staff and never needed to request a single item, as everything was always fully stocked. The attention to detail is fabulous; from the firework carpet to the Mickey Mouse lighting, the entire experience was absolutely magical. The pool staff was also very attentive and even though there were many families in the water, it never felt too loud or bothersome. While the main reason for the visit was a work conference for my spouse, it was also our first trip to Disney as empty nesters and was a wonderful start to our summer. I cannot wait to stay here again!
I had the honor of helping an out of town guest get her affairs in order so that she can take her granddaughter to Disneyland. She came to me frazzled (I just happened to be finishing breakfast with my own family heading g over to the theme parks as well. Long story short, the grandmother came to me asking me for help. I could only do so much. We stepped into the Disneyland Hotel and asked the front desk for help. Brandon and Brett were so very helpful and I was happy to be a Southerner Californian and witness these two awesome guys help this lady give her granddaughter an amazing Disney Day. Bravo guys! Great job Disneyland Hotel for having such great staff!
