Donut House - Anacortes

This place, hands down, has some of the best donuts I've ever eaten. I have a grown-up ring chocolate, a cinnamon twist and a cake donut. They were so soft and fluffy that the pieces as easy as cotton candy pulled away. No donut will ever compare again. All right.

If you're a fan of apple fritters, this is the best spot to grab one in Anacortes! They're huge, incredibly crispy, and delightfully sweet! It's my favorite doughnut, and I measure every doughnut shop against this one. It definitely lives up to the reputation! Go get one now!

I took my grandchildren to the Donut House, and my oldest granddaughter remarked how small it looked from the outside. She was surprised by how much space there was inside for all the donuts! Needless to say, they can’t wait to go back again soon.

I don’t know if a better donut place in the state…. And I have been to too many… try the blueberry/cream cheese bow tie.. you can thank me later

I requested a large maple donut from the bottom shelf, and her response was to stop and stare at me while questioning, “the bar?” There were no labels to indicate what each donut was, so I asked for three more, but the cashier acted as if I was a nuisance, rushing me through the line like cattle. When I handed her my card, she yanked it from my hand. As I reached out to take it back politely, she just tossed it on the counter out of my reach. The service was extremely rude, and I couldn't tell if they were just having a bad day or if this is typical for the establishment. I won't be supporting a business with such poor attitude.
