Food was terrible nothing homemade or fresh. Despite an abundance of wonderful local Ingredients available to every restaurant in the country, everything was very clearly frozen or canned. We both felt sick after eating here. Price also sickening. Paid more for a terrible lunch here than we had for many fantastic dinners throughout our trip. Place shouldn’t be in business. Dreadful.

Avoid this place or to be safe get a price before you eat. This 'restaurant ' sits opposite a guy selling pastries and drinks on the way to Villa San Miichelle on Via Axel Munthe. I will second one of the previous reviews. Yes 'shame on them ' for blatantly taking advantage of tourists. Watch out the the slick talking older guy in the captains hat, he also works in Il Bocconne in Anacapri in the evenings. He offers you 'specials ' not on the menu. We had a bottle of water and 2 small lunchtime pasta snacks....we were presented with a handwritten bill for 60 euros... Yes, yes I should have asked the price before we ordered. When I asked for the bill the guy in the captains hat looked at us and said something to the other waiter, we were then presented with the large bill. I was left very dissatisfied as we had been taken advantage of. Shame on them! Avoid this place.

When I think that the Moretti was the best thing (and I hate lager) you know things weren't great. The squash ball...sorry octopus was particularly inedible. At least the old guy with the captain's hat didn't rip us off!
