Cafe De Jaren - Amsterdam Nederland

Lookhhhhh a good mood, they have to be there the next time they want to brunch on a sunny day. their baked eggs are amazing, now we make them home all the time. a beautiful canal view of the terrace.

I am an American who visits the lowerlands for three weeks. I visited holland a lot in business, and I would always visit caffe de jaren as soon as I came to the city for their excellent cappuccino and tomatensuppe. this time my brother and I have made a short break and drink while I have made a walk through amsterdam. around 3.30 clock the caffe was quite crowded, but we could find a table near the large glass windows with views of the amstel river and channel. canal tour boats are constantly passing, and they can enjoy the landscape as they sit and enjoy their food and drinks. in any case a great place to immerse yourself in nearby sights such as dam square, the red light district, kalverstraat and bloemenmarkt.

Just the best! I always loved the atmosphere here. Even if they served the worst food in the world (what they don't do) it would still be my favorite café in the world that I haven't been in amsterdam for years, but without spending a afternoon here, not gone.

Very friendly staff. it is really spacious and has a great flow view through the ceiling-high windows. very elegantly decorated. the menu also offers dishes to breakfast. five stars for the atmosphere.

I loved this cafe. It provides a very good view of Canal. You can sit either outside or inside as per your wish and weather condition and enjoy your meal. The staff was good and friendly. You can find some options for vegetarian food.
