We just wanted to drink. the waiter was really friendly. he suggested that we should try the blonde beer and my man said it was really good. while I only had ginger tea, but it's really not any single ginger on a tee bag. the place is really nice next to the channel. they have channel terrace, but it was full, but we still enjoy it tho

One of the best bars in the opposite friendly staff and beautiful sitting on the canal

“T smalle could be one of the biggest amsterdam bar in which I was! first they don’t play any music that could possibly stop some people from it, but it’s really much better on this wise. that listen to the white noise and chatting people offers a much better ambiente. the customers are very nice and happy to have a chat with them. the staff is efficient and nice. they also offer one of the most beautiful canal terraces to sit on. all in all, 't smalle is a wonderful bar to spend her evening.

My favorite brown bar in Amsterdam. Really friendly staff and probably one of the nicest terraces in the city where you can sit and watch swans swim by. Great Dutch beers on tap.

Lovely little corner café with very friendly atmosphere and staff. They went to extra lengths, to extend the seating area onto the canal itself, via terrace-extension. Lovely place to sit and have an espresso after a good meal closely or just have a coffee in the morning or afternoon. Very much appreciated the attention to detail, they put put into small things like the presentation of the menu. Prices are average for a Café generally. So nothing special there. To sum it up: great place to have a good coffee, while sitting directly on the canal with friendly staff and a brilliant view all day long. Also deserts looked insane but we were too full to try unfortunately.
