Contribuiți la feedbackI have had plenty of indian food and given that my ethnicity is India I 'm pretty sure you will have to take my word for it : I have never eaten at the restaurant so I cant comment about the ambience. But I have had food to go from here lots of times. Delivery, packing Prompt good Prices Reasonable Food Now here is where I get serious What I like about this place is that they have the regular dishes on the menu but they all taste authentic, made from scratch almost home made. Its not too greasy and its not too heavy the sauces of all the dishes and dal 's are very salt of the earth if you get my drift. Would I go here again yes !
Pretty decent place. Ordered corma, which is some kind of mild coconut curry, along with normal nan and garlic nan. Very nice meal. Reminds me of old times in Canada eating Indian food with Indian friends.
Oh, I so miss the good old days when i use to eat at my favorite Indian restaurant in the pijp, until some crazy person in Amsterdam decided to bomb the restaurant. So we decided to try out this Indian restaurant, since we were in the area. The food here is ok, but nothing special or bad. I would grade it in the middle. I still have not been fortunate to come across any A level Indian restaurant, since my favorite spot was demolish by craziness. The Indian food at Namaskar is not amazing, but passable. The price is very fair and the customer service is good.
My favorite Indian in Amsterdam. Unlike other places in Holland, when they say hot here, they mean it. My first visit I had the vindaloo and got it hot . It was awesome but even as a hot food lover it was more than I could handle. I nearly hurt myself with the heat as it was soooo good I kept eating anyway! Next time around I chose medium and was much happier. Naan was good and so was the Sag Paneer. Will defintely be back on my next trip to Amsterdam.
First real big meal while in Amsterday our first day. Close to the Crowne Plaza hotel where we are staying. Cozy, Food was very good and spicy. However, table came sans silverware and the waiter was too busy to really notice. Most customers were fellow Americans. Not sure why more LOCALS were not eating there?
