Cafe Brasserie Meuwese - Amsterdam

Food is bland, minimal options. Drinks were okay but service was very poor and waitress was rude. Waited 30 minutes just to have order taken.

This little spot was perfect! We just flew in, walked 10 miles and we were able to get a great table inside. outside tables do not have shade) So cute and actually bigger then you think. The seating continues inside and down a beautiful hall with lots of tables in the back. We loved the food. We had The California salad and it did not disappoint . In the city centre.

I liked this place quite a bit, it was really cute. My wife got the three-course prix fixe and enjoyed all of the courses (burratta was great, cod was pretty good, dessert of chocolate mousse was tasty). I was less hungry that day and only got the round-steak main, which was perfect (steak, carrot, gravy, and potatoes dauphinoise is a great combination). Service was reasonably good. Great location.

Stopped here after walking around Central Amsterdam. We were able to snag a table on the patio to enjoy the warm, sunny day. I was happy to see they had virgin mojitos and it was very tasty. The croque madam was DELICIOUS with perfectly toasted bread. The French Onion Soup was OK but not something I would order again. I saw a few people with the California Salad and it looked very appetizing. Service was efficient and we got seater quickly. This is a great little spot.

After seven days in AMS, this restaurant has the best service, beer bathroom (I didn't eat). The bathroom smells like flowers it's not a strong smell. They have toliet seat wipes! For women, this is special
