Poblet I Marieta - Amposta

My experience in 'Poblet i Marieta ' was completely unacceptable, and I feel obliged to share it to prevent others from going through what we experienced. My wife is pregnant and has a severe shellfish allergy, making any contact with shellfish potentially dangerous for her and our unborn baby. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we informed the staff about my wife 's allergy, and they seemed to understand it correctly. However, our surprise was huge when one of the starters we ordered arrived with remains of shrimp. Not only was this gross negligence, but it also put the health of my wife and our unborn child at risk. We immediately requested that the plate be removed and replaced. But the wait was endless. Meanwhile, we were served the paella we had ordered as a main course. When the modified dish finally arrived, more than half an hour later, we had already finished eating. Then we asked them to cancel the dish and when the manager refused “because the dish had already been prepared” we asked for it to be taken away with a lot of frustration. To make matters worse, they charged for the dish and did not have the decency to have a detail to compensate for the bad experience. 'Poblet i Marieta ' demonstrated total negligence regarding food safety and the management of serious allergy situations, which is why we are forced to write a complaint letter to Consum to prevent other people from having a similar experience. Excelente arroz caldoso de cigalas, super sabroso y en el punto perfecto. Nos ha encantado este sitio. El servicio es muy bueno a pesar de que siempre está lleno pero el trato es excelente. Todos los arroces tenían una pinta increíble y las carnes también parecían muy ricas. Los postres muy buenos. Lo recomendamos 100%, es imprescindible reservar. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Menú de 30 euros en dissabte, t'inclou 3 primers plats tipo tapa , un segon a escollir i postre. La beguda va a part. En el nostre cas arrós cremós de cranc deliciós. Ens van atendre tot i ser força tart i sense reserva. Personal i atenció cuidada i el lloc molt maco.
