Contribuiți la feedbackUPDATE....1 week following a category 1 hurricane . GSLE is running well and most things are running smoothly again. Some palms and plants got battered, but they will be back. Otherwise, restaurants are open and staff is on point. Congratulations GSLE!! ROOM for IMPROVEMENT at GSLE After spending multiple times at GSLE there is a one suggestion I have and I am absolutely sure other guests have had as well that would reduce vacation frustration among most guests during their stay at GSLE. IMPROVE WIFI access to all rooms. Some of us have businesses that are global in nature which require good internet and WIFI access. All of us love uploading and sending pictures and videos of our lovely time at GSLE back to relatives and friends. Good WIFI access in today's world is essential for accomplishing this .Any WIFI fix should be easy enough for a major property like GSLE .This suggestion for improved WIFI at GSLE would greatly improve an already wonderful guest experience at GSLE. UPDATE APRIL 2022 TURTLE HATCHLINGS Stranded turtle hatchlings on the beach at GSLE. Friends and I helped these teeny little guys into the water. What an experience. Amazing! Another excellent stay at the GSLE. Rooms was spacious, staff friendly and efficient and the stay was totally relaxing. The pools are clean and chairs were plentiful. Pool service was wonderful Claudia is our huge favorite! . The views are exceptional. Access to the center and harbor of Cabo is an easy walk from GSLE. Covid testing was efficient and on site as well, making for an easy return home. All in all a highly recommended stay. I'll be back!
I have been coming here since 2012 and had a good experienced until now. They have me a room with broken door that cannot be closed from outside and then moved me the next day to another room… they should never assign a broken room to guest… it has been a hassle to pack and repack… and at the new location… people smoking and i called security and they disconnected my call and when i called again they said will send people over but never come… and they made me sign no smoking policy which they do not enforce. I give 1 start for front desk and security. Front desk said they will call me about my room issues and took my number but never called. Grand Solmar has change in quality. I give 5 stars to Bell Boy Renee and Manny has been very helpful in helping me with my issues. Without them this will be waste of trip. I hope management can address this issues..so the quality can be restored like before.
I have been coming to Cabo from the San Francisco Bay Area since 1970s and love it here. I remember the first year we came there was nothing but a dirt road once you left the United States. Wow this area has changed a lot, but my favorite area is still Lands End. For my money the finest resort is Grand Solmar, which I have been enjoying since it opened. I returned this year since 1999 and everything is exactly the same. The resort is exquisitely maintained, the staff attentive and the ocean, beach and pools lovely. Many changes to Cabo but fortunately this place is timeless.
Manny is the best. He's a great first impression for the resort. Freddy is the highlight of the Sports Bar. You'll love Jeorge when you eat at Don Luis. Fine dining is the best description of La Roca. Juan is very attentive at the adult pool.
I have owned here since 2006 and am very thrilled to come back every opportunity that I can. The disappointments that occur while staying are foreshadowed by the positive experiences. The pros certainly outweigh the cons. The service is amazing and so is the food. My dilemmas are with maintenance items and anesthetics. These things for me are what the new ownership needs to step to pay attention to. Cleanliness, plant care, room maintenance, and safety. If you want this to be a 5-star resort, treat it like one.
