Nonna's Cafe - Amite City

We got lucky and found this place on our way home to Oklahoma from NOLA and my goodness! The food was incredible and the service impeccable! Nonna was amazing to us and so welcoming. I highly recommend this place!

This place is a hidden gem! If I could give it 10 stars, I would! We visit family often and have to take I-12 and we will be stopping every time for the buffet. It’s very well seasoned and not a thing I tried was not absolutely wonderful. The best part is it is even that much for a buffet which is a lot of seafood…under $20! 4 adults was $81 and that included drinks and the $10 tip. Can’t wait to try what is available on other days! Definitely stop by…you won’t be disappointed!

When you walk in, it feels like you're walking into your mawmaws house out in the country. I've eaten here for years, the quality is consistent, flavorful, real Southern Soul Food. They close early, so be sure to get there early enough.
