Amherst Kitchen - Amherstburg

I have dined at this restaurant twice in the past week and already plan on returning. The food is very good and the service is very friendly and fast as well.

The Lord Amherst is a popular bar and restaurant. They have a wide variety of beers available, although I did not try any. The menu is typical pub fare, fitting with the atmosphere of the establishment. Our meals were delicious and served hot. The hostess and waitress were both very attentive and handled their duties well, despite being quite busy. We dined while watching sporting events on several big flat screen televisions. The prices were a bit high, but not unreasonable.

This charming little pub offers delicious food. I tried the hufe, which was packed with smoked brisket and accompanied by a variety of delicious wines. It's the perfect spot for a quick and tasty lunch.

Great spot. Healthy portions. The nachos are worth coming back for. The fish and chips also very good .
