Wandlyn Inn - Amherst

I understand this place has new owners and are working to improve it. With that qualifier....There are many options in the surrounding area. Exercise them! This is a rundown place that needs a lot of TLC. The halls are dark and need to be updated from the early 90s (my best guess.) Free breakfast is nothing more than muffins, bagels, canned fruit, juice, and coffee. The "high speed" wi-fi is HORRIBLE. It is no better than dial-up. I complained until they provided me with their password for the front desk's wi-fi. I had to sit in the restaurant up front but at least I could get some work done. The place is just tired. It is absolutely not worth what they charge. Stay somewhere else.

New owners and kitchen reopened. Cautious start but staff are working hard to bring it back. You will. E well received and the price is good.

The exterior needs some work but the room was spacious, clean and fully equipped with fridge and microwave. The breakfast was adequate but consisted of just cereal, toast, hard boiled eggs, etc. There was no heated items such as bacon and eggs, waffles, etc.

I was not impressed with this hotel. It is very overpriced. Does not have a lot to offer. Yes there is a pool and restaurant but was not impressed with the meal.

We stayed here many times over the years we can see it is going down hill. You were able to get a hot breakfast before but now it is just a serve yourself, you know toast, Bagle ,etc.This is a change since last year when we stay here. It has a pool which is not being kept up but it wasn't last year either.
