Great place for ice cream and good portions and prices are good the service was great with a friendly staff and nice clean tables to sit and relax and enjoy

A local favorite for sure, all soft serve, although they've added shaved ice and can do frappes and blizzards too. The flavors are pretty good and they do have non dairy options.

Nice lo cal doft serve only 8 . And Vegan almond milk soft serve.

Since it changed owners, the food quality is not nearly as good as it was before. The 2 people working there today looked like they were in their teens. The older teen boy made my ice cream cone and decided to have only one glove on and with the gloveless hand, tap the bottom of my ice cream cone repeatedly! The plain ice cream cones are wrapped around the sides but not the bottom. I've never seen anyone do that to an ice cream cone. It looked like he was attempting to get the ice cream to settle to the bottom. The ice cream has no flavor and the cherry dip is watery and tasteless. I should have known that kids their age are not going to practice or are not informed or trained enough on food handling for the public

We spend the day at the amherst town beach and then stop bye Tastee Kone for an ice cream with the kids. We really enjoy their ice cream.
