Edith is doing it! Not only did she wait on us, but she cooked our meal too! Good home cooked meal. No frills.

We've been here twice for breakfast while visiting family, and Edith's is a hidden gem. Friendly service and exceptional homemade food served in an immaculate little restaurant.

I 'm driving along Route 60, and just when I think Yelp has led me astray, I see the building off the side of the road. I 'm greeted with a friendly good morning. I take my seat and peruse the varied menu. Eggs; check. Country fried steak; check. Biscuits and gravy. Biscuits AND gravy! In my humble opinion, that was the best sausage gravy I have ever had. And the coffee is nice and strong, not watered down from over-brewing, like so many diners do. If there 's one thing I didn 't like, it 's that Edith 's is about 250 miles from where I live. The heartbreak is real, folks! If you live nearby, know that you 're blessed.
