Friar Tuck Cafe - Amesbury

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast here, all prepared fresh to order—hot and delicious. The staff was friendly and welcoming. It's conveniently located near the A303 and far superior to stopping at service stations for breakfast.

This is a typical greasy spoon diner. The decor is a bit dated, but there are plenty of tables available. The food came out pretty quickly. The space could use a bit of tidiness, but considering the low prices, it's understandable. It was quite busy when we visited, so a few tables had dirty cups and plates stacked up. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would definitely go back.
