The Iowastater - Ames

Had the Lane Hammer Blue Cheese Burger with fries on the side. Very generous portions. I ate half the burger and took the other half to finish later. I enjoyed the meal and the staff were warm and friendly. It was a bit cold in there during the day compared to when I visited the bar the previous night, but it was manageable.

Nice stainless steel silverware. This is the real deal. I had the Apricot-Glazed Salmon ... DELICIOUS! Thanks for a great food experience!

Pretty straightforward review: good food and service in a nice atmosphere. Not the biggest menu, but still had plenty of reasonable lunch options. I'd definitely return if in the area enough.

Had my baby shower lunch here! Good prices for how fancy the food is! Waitress was lovely and accommodating. The cyclone wrap was delicious!!

Takeout of Pork Tenderloin and Mac N Cheese. I've had better tenderloins but it was home made. The Mac n Cheese was really good with grilled chicken. The chicken was moist and the macaroni cooked perfectly.
