Subway - Ames

Very rude woman works here. She had long black hair with the sides shaved. I asked for light sauce and she put it on HEAVY. It was a spicy sauce and I told her that was too much my stomach can 't handle it. She laughed in my face and said thats the normalamount of sauce and I can 't take it off. I asked for some to be removed and she yelled no! Quess you 're out a sandwich andtossed it to the side.

Horrible service from personal, they guy making the sandwiches was being very rude with all the customers. I'm never coming back to this particular store.

The food is decent, but we had an unpleasant experience while ordering our sandwiches. One of the female employees told my boyfriend and me that she could get fired for adding toppings to a sandwich that was already toasted unless we specifically requested them beforehand. She was rather short and rude, which is unusual for our visits here. It seemed like an overreaction for a chain that usually makes sandwiches to order. I think we'll choose to drive across town next time instead of enjoying the convenience of a nearby location.

I am completely taken aback by the terrible customer service I experienced at this location. The staff member was rude and raised her voice when I asked simple questions. She also refused to provide her name. I've been a regular customer here for years, but I will not be returning.

When I paid for my meal, I mentioned her behavior to her larger co-worker, trying to express some empathy, assuming she might be having a rough day. However, that co-worker was also dismissive and simply gave me the standard "have a nice day" response to usher me out of the line. While my food was fine, I am seriously reconsidering whether I will return in the future if I’m going to be treated this way. The only positive interaction I had was with a bearded gentleman who was polite and didn't display any rudeness or condescension. That's why I’m giving this review 2 stars instead of just 1. If the staff continues to behave like this, they may eventually treat the wrong customer poorly. The world already has enough negativity; kindness would go a long way.
