Kitchen Eighty-eight - American Fork

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time. Didn't disappoint. I took my company here and I'm glad they made me look good. Great ambiance inside. Lots of natural light, a little blinding at sunset. Friendly service. Really open. I got the tri tip steak with mashed potatoes and chimchurri sauce. Delectable. I got a really good home meal here. All was warm. The broccoli was exquisite too... broccoli!!! The fried risotto are good. Not a must, but good. The sweet potato fries tho might be a must. So salty and tasty.

Kitchen 88 has slotted themselves into their own clever space of dining. It 's a little more expensive than a typical fast casual joint even though is has a slightly fast casual, almost brunch-like vibe and dining experience. Maybe I 've over thinking it but they 've done a nice job of creating a bright and busy dining room with a quality menu. The food is always excellent and I 'd recommend the Grilled Tri-tip with a combo of Peri peri sauce and Chimichurri sauce. I 've never been disappointed and I think this is a pretty affordable way to buy quality food. It 's still priced just above most other standard fast casual restaurants though, so for me it will remain an every once in awhile treat instead of slotting into my regular rotation.

Wowowow food was amazing. No other way to put it. I'm a sucker for risotto and I think it was a seasonal thing. But man. Really good stuff. Their menu is a nice mix of classic and some new flavors, so a little bit for everyone. My biggest complaint was just the vibe. The food was fantastic, but it was very casual seating and difficult to find a place to sit. Having it so casual, it took the atmosphere down a notch for me. I hate when I've got a plate of warm food and I can't sit anywhere. But honestly, the meal was so good, I don't even care. I'd come back again in a heartbeat.

10/10! Love this place. Has a little bit of a nicer vibe than a typical order and seat yourself restaurant. Their menu is amazing. Such fun and diverse options. We started with the Beehive fries and they were to die for! The Tex's Hot Chicken Sanwich might just be the best spicy chicken sandwich i've had. The bun and toppings on it were just right. The tri-tip sando was also delish! Highly recommend this place!

What is K88? It is a really nice, casual, fast, upscale dining experience. They offer really good food in almost a cafeteria atmosphere. When you first arrive you are filtered through their cashier line to order your food. Your selection are what you would find at a nicer restaurant like steak, chicken, pork with all of the sides. Mashed potatoes, broccolini, asparagus, salads and more. After you order you take your number and go sit at a table in their nicely furnished dining area and they bring you your food. There is no server, you have to get your own drinks and it's all very low key. I believe that by doing this they have been able to keep their costs down and provide good quality food. Their prices were very reasonable. At the suggestion of the, very friendly, cashier I ordered the Grilled Tri-Tip steak. Although it had more a sous vide cooking feel to it and they did not ask how I like my steak cooked it was very tender with good flavor. It came with two sauces to dip in from a selection of five. I chose the peri peri and chimchuri. I would have preferred it a little more rare, it was at least medium well, and it was only slightly warm when served, I would have preferred it warmer. I had the broccolini and a side salad as sides. All for less than $19.00. My wife had the peri peri chicken, perfectly cooked, nice and tender. Good flavor with rice that was also very good. I tried their lemonade with vanilla and rosemary. The rosemary blended surprisingly well, even with free refills I could only do one glass as it was very sweet. But it was excellent lemonade!
