Arby's - American Fork

Past couple of weeks I have had good service and my roast beef was sliced to the right size. Before it was thick and wasn't as good. Forgot to mention the shake machine is out of service.

I really enjoy Arby's, but this location often doesn't seem to be open during the hours posted, especially in the evening. I visited a little after 10 PM on a Friday and waited at the drive-thru for nearly five minutes without anyone taking my order or responding to my inquiries about whether they were open, even though the lights were on. I noticed a worker taking out the trash, so I know there were employees present. It's disappointing because Arby's is one of my favorite restaurants, and this is the closest location to me. The only one I’ve found that consistently adheres to its hours and stays open later is in Saratoga Springs.

The restaurant was closed when it was supposed to be open. I did meet some of the staff, and they were friendly. However, I've visited this Arby's a few times, and each time it has either been closed or the food hasn't been up to par, despite my fondness for Arby's. I won't be returning to this location.

I visited the drive-thru for lunch today, and my experience was quite disappointing. One of the male employees, who was working as the cashier, was loudly shouting at a fellow staff member. He only told me the total for my order without telling me what I had actually purchased. He seemed more focused on whatever was happening in the back than on my order. When he handed me my food, I had no idea if it was mine or not. I asked him three times if that was my order, and all he did was stop yelling and smile at me without saying a word. As someone who works in the service industry, I find this behavior unacceptable. I hope he isn't a manager. I understand that things can get busy, especially with many cars behind me, but the situation was still concerning. I genuinely hope the employees who were being yelled at are okay.

The chicken sandwiches are decent. The roast beef sandwiches are always dry. The ice cream machine is always broken. We probably eat there once a month and know to avoid certain items. If I could, I would probably give it 2.5 stars, but didn't feel itmerited three stars.
