Contribuiți la feedbackWe went out here to visit some folks and they happened to live near an actual Mexican panaderia. In fact, this is the first panaderia I have seen in Idaho since I started to visit the state. It was very cool to see. What was even cooler was the way they operate the business. I saw that they offered Tres Leches cake, so I went in and it was a small and quaint little bodeguita that has what you're looking for in terms of Mexican items. Unfortunately they were out of the Tres Leches cake. I made my move over to the pan dulce section and scooped up a few of them that included some churros, gingerbread pig and one other. I made my way over to pay and started speaking Spanish to the owner and I asked him how much was the pan dulce? Was it 4 for a dollar or 5 for a dollar? He gave me this look like he thought that I was joking. He chuckled and said no they're $1 A PIECE. I was like, oh. I had to explain that i was from out of state and all. He was cool about it and didn't take it as an insult. In retrospect it does make sense. This is probably the only panaderia in this area for many miles and scarcity dictates price, because if he were in L.A. you know no one out here pays no $1 a piece for any kind of pan dulce. If I'm ever back on this end of town I will visit them again.
We went here to visit some people and they were randomly living near a current Mexican panaderie. actually, this is the first panaderie I saw in idaho.
Excellent food! Can't beat the burritos, except maybe the carne asada. Did I mention the food was excellent?
