Los Cantaros Taqueria - American Canyon

Such a fantastic find! I stopped by for breakfast and had a wonderful experience. The Mexican cuisine was authentic and the aqua fresca was refreshingly homemade. I tried the chilaquiles with carnitas and it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Also known as Dos Botellas, this restaurant is not recommended for large groups. When my colleagues and I went, we had to sit at two separate tables despite there being only four tables occupied in the entire place. The table before us was served before us, and it wasn't until after I asked that we finally received our food. I also had to remind the waitress multiple times about bringing me the correct drink. Perhaps this restaurant is better suited for smaller groups, as the service was mediocre and the overall experience was just okay. I do not plan on returning in the future.

I am disappointed to have to leave a one-star review following my recent visit. I have been a loyal customer for years, but it seems that since the onset of COVID-19, the quality of the food has declined. The tacos I ordered were poorly made and lacked toppings. They used to be delicious, but now they are bland and undercooked. I'm not sure if it's just me, but regardless, it is disheartening to see the decline in quality at a restaurant that used to serve the best Mexican food I had ever tried.

Last time I ordered Al Pastor CA Fries, 3 Al Pastor Tacos and an Al Pastor Super Burrito! All really good and I think it's their tastiest meat selection. Will definitely be going with that choice of meat even more!
