Contribuiți la feedbackThe food was excellent and the service was on point. The seating was not crowded and you felt like you were in a courtyard cafe while seated indoors. The ambiance was warm and inviting. We will definitely be back.
Lagniappe has long been a favorite of mine. However, something has changed. My appetizer crab cake was more filler than crab. I had a pile of gristle I picked out of my Steak Frites. I've always raved about their pot de creme which used to be like velvet covered in whipped cream and fruit. This time it was heavy, gritty with one small teaspoon of cream. My companion had a similar meal with a cocktail (which didn't meet the requirements for Happy Hour) and she kept looking for some crab in her crabcake. It was my treat. The bill? Nearly $200! I don't know what happened there, but Never Again.

This was so close to five stars. I actually gave it to them. The food was very good. Not quite excellent though but still this restaurant is reliably very good and sometimes even outstanding when it comes to food. Service is always amazing and the atmosphere is excellent. Hand cut calamari and chicken fried oysters! Outstanding sauces with both! House side salad was very fresh and the honey-based dressing was perfect. Great ambiance and our server Stella took very good care of us. Perfect pacing between the courses. Most of our table had the blackened red fish. A generous portion cooked and sauced perfectly. I had the special of ocean scallops with pork belly. It was complimented with fingerling potatoes and vegetables. Truly a special dish and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
