Always wonderful! Such a treasure on the courthouse square!

Service was great . However the food was not ! We gave the food back and wasn't charged .

Virginia is a state where in many counties you may go many many miles before you find a good place to eat. But here in Amelia Court House, Katie and Ollie 's provides an oasis to dream of after you have traveled mile after mile of cornfield and mixed-forest jungle along the dogleg roads. Every square inch of Katie and Ollie 's Edible Art, LLC, has been done up to make you feel welcome and comfortable, and Katie has covered every base!The chairs are comfortable, the food is delicious, the edible art really is both edible and art. Even beer and wine is available for those not addicted to iced tea. When I arrived late on a day well into the nineties, the air conditioning was working and the water was cold. I was really in the mood to be watered, fed, and relaxed. Everything came together to my complete satisfaction, and I think Katie 's genius is a treasure that will keep on giving.I took a couple of photographs of the interior because I knew it would be hard to describe. Everything you see is Katie--the ceiling, the walls, the furnishings--pretty enough for a tearoom, clean enough for a surgery--if you should elect to enter the unisex baño, only beware of the hot water in the sink--it really works!There are gorgeous cookies and cakes for those not diabetic, and Katie 's concern for her customers extends to providing for those on Keto diets and those who are glucose intolerant. Your Mom may look out for you as well as Katie does, and your Grandma may be able to bake almost as well: but every feature of Katie and Ollie 's is impressive. As I was leaving, I took a couple more pictures--what a beautiful building! What a beautiful experience!
