Great hotel .. small jewel of a place. great for walks near the river. coffee cake at the river. go to elterwater to the britannia gasthof for a beer or coffee shop at the corner. near Ambleside/Grasmere. worth a stay.

Our first visit and we will be back, beautiful location friendly staff, beautiful rooms and great eating! a great fund and would definitely recommend to others
