The Fish Shack - Amble

My visit to the Fish Shack was the highlight of my day: a charming little restaurant with delicious, fresh seafood. I started with the amble langoustine in a flavorful broth (it was so meaty!) and followed it up with grilled sea bass, a house salad, and some of the best chips I’ve had in a long time (I’m dying to find out what type of potatoes they used). It was a great experience, and the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend making a reservation. Even Harrison Ford is a fan of this place!

I had seen the Fish Shack on the tv show “The Hairy Bikers Go North” and they rated the place highly. How right they are, great sea food dishes are plentiful, I had the Chowder which I would thoroughly recommend to you. The shack is very nicely laid out, not over fussy but warm inviting. We managed to get in without booking but if you don’t want to miss out on a truest memorable meal I would suggest you make a booking.

The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. I could not demand more than a steaming mush and beerpot on a cold day. we had our meal in one of the huts outside that come with kisses, cover and] a heating, and we have completely forgotten that the wind blowing outside! heavy work and courteous staff. all in all, a really wonderful little sound.

This charming small seafood restaurant is located right by the harbor. Both the chowder and squid were absolutely delicious. There are plenty of outdoor seating options available if you haven't made a reservation. We really appreciated the dog-friendly atmosphere since we prefer places that welcome our furry friends! For lunch, we shared a few appetizers, which were just the right amount. The staff was very friendly, and I will definitely be returning.

Fantastic fresh products. we have divided 3 starters of crispy inkfish, oyster and chowder. everyone was fantastic. the inkfish and oyster where the fab. the staff was also super nice
