Firstly the experience was a car crash before the food was even served. The service was appalling with the member of staff taking the wrong order then trying to shift the blame. The wait time was over 30 minutes after ordering in store and when the food was ready it was cold and the quality was that shambolic I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog! The quality has gone down hill since the new ownership and I will definitely not be returning!
Cold food TWICE and no offer of a refund. Disgusting service. 2 hours on a Sunday night to get a quick bite of food and cost an appalling 18quid.
Not for the first time (but definitely the last), order was completely wrong. Accidents happen, but then they made two massive customer service sins... 1. Claimed that the customer had got it wrong: they pointed at the ticket that a member of staff (who had since left for the day since taking my order) had filled out and handed to the kitchen. It was wrong but I was the one who was accused of ordering the wrong thing. 2. Did not take any responsibility and threw the staff member under the bus: “It’s not our fault, it was the guy who had left. So don’t complain to us”. Erm...it is your business!! I am the customer! I don’t care who it is, please just apologise and fix the order. They then proceeded to argue for 5 minutes without accepting any responsibility or apologising, and then wondered why I was miffed. I gave up, asked for a refund, and confirmed that this would be the last time I come there (Sad, as I WAS a Weekly customer). This is the last straw. I’ve always being willing to be fine with their errors but the arrogant and argumentative approach to this issue is too much. They don’t deserve the custom.
