It was a great choice for us, the food is great and like homemade with the area famous food The location is great too I put 4 stars because the workers should behave more respectably with customers

I eat Turkish foods in my home and the food taste the same . It’s a nice place that has good food but can do better with the amount they put.

Don t be confused by the gloomy entrance, once you are inside you will discover an amazing old house turned into a traditional restaurant with a big variety of delicious local dishes. Unfortunately, the service does not do justice to this wonderful restaurant as the waiters rush after their clients removing their dishes before they finish making room for the next ones. I was invited for a second time to the same place by friends a day later for dinner and at 22.00 after they repeatedly came to take our dishes away, while we were still eating, they were standing over our heads and staring at us urging us to leave. Does this make sense in a place as attractive and visited as Amasya, when the rest of the town was lively until 23.00-24.00 in the night?

I had lunch at this restaurant as part of a touring group. When I asked the owner to have my “dolma” without yoghurt which is added just before serving. He told me tersely that there was none. When I asked again, but this time the guy who was serving us, I received my dolmas without yoghurt. When confronted with his lie the owner, rather than apologizing, became very rude. The guy doesn’t deserve to have a business. The waiter was generously tipped though.
